I'm going to stop talking to the big man. He never listens to me.

When he got home last night, he went straight to where the tree was that the people just stole right out of our yard. He was looking at it and shaking his head. He was not a happy big man. I was telling him about the people and the loud cutting machines called chainsaws and the big truck with the bucket that lifted a man way up. I was trying to tell him that SOME PEOPLE STOLE OUR TREE. THEY DID. THE WHOLE THING. But he was not listening to me.

I was not happy with him so I didn't play with him after supper.

I don't sleep in the house very much at night because well, I sleep in the house all day. At night I go out and prowl. That's what cool cats do you know. I have slept in the house a few times so I know what happens at night. Poor Mom and the big man sleep in the nice bed downstairs. When I sleep in the house, I sleep on poor Mom's feet at the end and sometimes on her head. I know that the big man makes very loud noises when he sleeps. Sometimes he wakes poor Mom up and she punches and jabs him. Sometimes he stops making loud noises and sometimes he doesn't.

If he doesn't, poor Mom tosses and turns and gets the covers all messed up and makes it hard for me to sleep. Sometimes the big man's sleeping noises are so loud I can't sleep either.

Every morning, the big man gets up first. Now, most mornings, I'm outside, waiting to hear the garage door open so I know to come in. The big man lets me in. He takes a shower and gets all ready for work. Then he gets poor Mom a cup of coffee and takes it to her in the bed. He wakes her up and they sit together and talk for just a bit before he leaves. Then me and poor Mom have our coffee and talk. This is all nice everyday and me and the big man really like that poor Mom has been home for many days.

But this morning was not the same and I am mad at the big man. He let me in like other days. But poor Mom was not in the bed. Her car was home, so I know she didn't leave, but she was not in the bed. I was looking for her everywhere. I finally found her in one of the beds upstairs. The big man was fixing the coffee, but he only fixed a cup for him. He didn't fix poor Mom a cup and take it to her. Then he got ready to leave.

I told him he could not leave poor Mom asleep in the upstairs bedroom! She is a sleepy head and she will sleep all day and then who will give me cat treats? I followed him around begging him to go wake up poor Mom but he would not listen to me! I followed him outside and just kept yelling at him to go wake up poor Mom. He just got in the truck and left and when he was gone, I realized that I was not in the house! Poor Mom! She will sleep til night time!

Poor Mom finally woke up and she let me in. I was telling her that I was worried about her and that I tried to tell the big man to wake her up. He never listens to me! Now poor Mom was late going to her office with the new desk. She called the big man on the phone. He told her he let her sleep because he knew his loud sleeping noises kept her awake. She said that's why she had to go upstairs.

I am mad at the big man! He doesn't listen to me! He wakes poor Mom up with loud sleeping noises! He leaves her asleep and she is late going to her office! She was tired and forgot to give me a cat treat!

I think tonight me and poor Mom should put the big man out and just let me sleep in the bed. I don't take up much room and I don't make loud sleeping noises. Because that is so not cool and I am a cool cat.
